DISTRO
Replosion project starts in year 2000, from an idea by brothers Gianmarco and Michele Galletto; the Replosion reached a stable lineup in 2006 when singer Fil Palmer and keyboard player Gabriele Marangoni joined the band.
In the same year Replosion recorded the first EP, which got several good reviews from magazines and webzines.
Following a period of quite intense live work, with performances in the major clubs and festivals of the area: Lucille, Alcatraz, Mantova NU-Prog Fest and many more.
In 2009 Enrico Dolcetto joined the band replacing Simone on bass.
The first full-lenght album “The Resting Place Of Illusion” is recorded in the year 2010, produced by Dualized and Eddy Cavazza for dysFUNCTION Productions, recorded and engineered by Dualized and Eddy Cavazza, Mixed by Dualized and Eddy Cavazza, mastered by Alessandro Vanara.
The music style of Replosion is described as a mix between classic 70s prog rock sound and modern progressive metal, with influences by thrash metal and 90s power metal.
